Planned Itinerary

(subject to change, for example due to weather)

Day 1: Saturday – All Aboard in Dubrovnik

Embarkation: After 17:00 at marina in Dubrovnik.

  • Welcome drinks & briefing aboard as the crew runs through the boat and the week ahead.
  • Explore Dubrovnik’s Old Town and walk the famous city walls.
  • Dinner in the Old Town, followed by a nightcap at a gay-friendly harbor bar.

Day 2: Sunday – Dubrovnik to Lokrum

  • Short sail to Lokrum; anchor off the island’s FKK rocks on the southeastern cape, Dubrovnik’s best-known gay nudist spot.
  • Enjoy (swim, chill, cruise…) the beach
  • Optionally explore the ruined monastery and botanical garden, or climb to Fort Royal for the classic Old Town view.

Day 3: Monday – Lokrum to Saplunara, Mljet

  • Sail south to Saplunara, twin sandy coves on Mljet’s remote southeastern tip.
  • Swim and unwind on the beach — about as far from a crowd as the Adriatic gets.
  • A quiet night at anchor under the stars.

Day 4: Tuesday – Saplunara to Pomena/Poleče, Mljet

  • Cruise along Mljet’s wild southern coastline into Mljet National Park.
  • Optional bike rental around the saltwater lakes (Veliko & Malo Jezero) to St. Mary’s Islet.
  • Dinner at a quiet konoba near the park, or a barbecue on deck.

Day 5: Wednesday – Pomena/Poleče, Mljet to Korčula

  • Explore Korčula’s Old Town, herringbone streets, and city walls.
  • Optional wine tasting: Korčula’s signature whites.
  • Sunset drinks at a harbor bar with views across the Pelješac channel.

Day 6: Thursday – Korčula to Okuklje, Mljet

  • Sail to Okuklje, a perfectly sheltered bay on Mljet’s northeastern coast and the island’s closest harbor to Dubrovnik.
  • Swim in the calm, fully protected waters of the bay.
  • A tiny, sleepy village wrapped around a picture-perfect natural harbor — not much to do but enjoy it.

Day 7: Friday – Okuklje to Dubrovnik

  • Relaxed final sail back to Dubrovnik, with a last swim stop along the way.
  • Time to reflect on the week’s adventures, or squeeze in some last-minute tanning.
  • Farewell dinner back in the Old Town.

Day 8: Sunday – Disembarkation in Dubrovnik

Disembarkation: By 09:00 at the marina in Dubrovnik.

  • Exchange contact info with your new besties.
  • Head out to explore the town, or head to the airport for your return journey home with a ton of new memories and connections.
  • A big Bare Waves Sailing send-off — see you on the water again soon!
