Referral and Bare NaviGAYtors Program Policy

We’re excited to offer you more incentives to choose Bare Waves Sailing for your sailing adventures and to help us grow our community of like-minded sailors. That’s why we’ve launched our referral program and our Bare NaviGAYtors frequent-sailor program. Below are the details about how the programs work, along with our policies for both programs

At a Glance

When you refer a friend, it helps us to grow our community. As a thank-you, we’ll give you and your friend a discount for eligible* referrals.

Also, when you book multiple sailing trip with us in a 12-month period, we want to share the love with you. Progress through our Bare NaviGAYtor tiers and earn discounts* with us, up to 50% off future bookings.

Policies

This Referral and Incentive Policy describes the operational rules of the Referral Program and Bare NaviGAYtors Program. This policy may be updated from time to time. The current version published on our website applies.

A. Referral Program Policy

A.1 Referrers

• Need to hold an active customer account.
• Need to use their personal referral link or code.
• Referral benefits are awarded only if the Friend meets all eligibility requirements.
• Referral bonuses are granted as non-transferable discount codes for future bookings.
• The current referral bonus for Referrers is €150 off the pre-tax price of a scheduled sailing trip. We reserve the right to change this amount at any time.
• Eligible purchases must meet any minimum spend requirement defined by us from time to time.
• Referral bonuses expire 365 days after the Friend’s eligible purchase.
• Referral bonuses may be combined with some other eligible discounts, subject to restrictions defined by us.

A.2 Friends (Referred Customers)

• Need to use an active referral link or code.
• Need to not have previously purchased from us or joined a trip as a customer or guest.
• Need to make a first-time booking of a scheduled trip and have never made a purchase with us before.
• The current referral bonus for Friends is €75 off the pre-tax price of a scheduled sailing trip, subject to a minimum eligible spend currently set at €700 (pre-tax order amount for eligible trips). We reserve the right to change these conditions.
• Referral bonuses must be used within 90 days of receipt.
• Bonuses are applied automatically where technically possible or via coupon code.

A.3 Refunds, Cancellations, and Repayment

If a referred booking is cancelled or refunded, we may revoke or reclaim referral bonuses already granted. Repayment may be required in cash or offset against future bookings, at our discretion. We reserve the right to invoice referrers for any used referral discounts in the event that the friend they referred cancels their booking after the referrer redeems the related discount for the referral.

B. Bare NaviGAYtors Program Policy

B.1 Bare Miles

• Members earn 1 Bare Mile per eligible € (Euro) spent (excludes VAT / tax) on eligible sailing trip bookings.
• Bare Miles are awarded only after full payment for the booked sailing trip, unless stated otherwise by us.
• Bare Miles expire one (1) year after being earned.

Eligible sailing trips include both bespoke and scheduled sailing trips. Purchases of other products or services may not be eligible to earn Bare Miles, subject to our discretion.

The customer account used to complete the purchase of the eligible booking earns Bare Miles.
For eligible trips where one customer books for a couple or a group, please contact us if you would like to allocate your eligible Bare Miles to other members of your group. Each person must have their own account on our website to receive Bare Miles.

When reallocating/sharing Bare Miles, the miles will be deducted from the account that made the booking and credited to the other customer(s). Example: John books a trip for himself and his partner, Tim. John earns Bare Miles for the booking. If preferred, the Bare Miles can be split so that Tim receives 50% of the Bare Miles. In this case, 50% of the Bare Miles will be deducted from John’s account and credited to Tim’s account.

B.2 Tiers

As you travel with us, we want to help you save more as a frequent-sailor!

Below is a list of our current Bare NaviGAYtor tiers and benefits:

• Bare Curious: 1,000 Bare Miles – 15% discount off the pre-tax amount for eligible sailing trips
• Bare Pro: 2,000 Bare Miles – 25%  discount off the pre-tax amount for eligible sailing trips
• Bare Icon: 5,000 Bare Miles – 50%  discount off the pre-tax amount for eligible sailing trips

Discounts are provided in the form of a coupon, which is valid for 1 year from the date of issue and may not be combinable with all other discounts or offers.

We reserve the right to add, change, or revoke tier thresholds, discounts, and benefits at any time.

B.3 Tier Validity and Downgrades

Tier status is valid for the remainder of the calendar year in which it is reached plus one additional calendar year. If insufficient points are earned to maintain a tier after the validity period, the member tier will be downgraded accordingly.

B.4 Discount Application and Stacking

• Tier discounts may be applied automatically or via coupon code.
• Tier discounts may be combined with referral discounts and selected promotions, unless expressly excluded.
• Certain trips or promotions may be excluded from tier discounts at our discretion.

B.5 Enrollment of Existing Customers

Customers who have already booked prior to the launch of the Bare NaviGAYtors program may opt into the Bare NaviGAYtors program by contacting us.  Any bookings made within one year prior to opting into the Bare NaviGAYtors program are eligible to be counted towards Bare Miles, and the Bare Miles will expire according to the standard NaviGAYtors program policy, as outlined above.  When opting into the Bare NaviGAYtors program, you agree to forfeit any and all previous returning-sailor discounts, namely the discount coupon code received after your previous trip(s), as such discounts will be replaced by the tier benefits of the program.

C. Changes to These Policies

We may update these policies at any time with immediate effect. Changes will be published on our website. Material changes may additionally be communicated by email. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
