Ending Port City: Ibiza Town (Eivissa), Spain
Travel Advice: Fly into Ibiza (IBZ). The marina is about 15 min from the airport by taxi, or take bus line 10 (30 min).
Planned Itinerary
(subject to change, for example due to weather)
Day 1: Saturday – Ibiza Town
Embarkation: After 18:00 at Marina Ibiza.
- Welcome drinks and briefing on board, moored at the foot of UNESCO-listed Dalt Vila.
- Walk up into the old town for sunset from the ramparts, then settle in with the crew and your new shipmates.
- Head down to Calle de la Virgen, Ibiza’s gay street, for a first drink on the Dôme terrace or at one of the bars along the strip.
Day 2: Sunday – Ibiza Town to Es Cavallet and Formentera East
- Short sail south to Es Cavallet, Ibiza’s gay and nudist beach, for a morning swim and snorkel by the Chiringay beach bar.
- Lunch stop at S’Espalmador, the little nude-friendly island between Ibiza and Formentera, known for its mud baths.
- Cross to Formentera’s east coast for the first night at anchor, weather permitting.
Day 3: Monday – Formentera East to Cala Saona
- Sail clockwise around Formentera, rounding the cliffs and lighthouse at La Mola on the east tip.
- Lunch and swim stop along Formentera’s long south coast, with white sand, turquoise water and relaxed swimming off the boat.
- Round Cap de Barbaria and anchor at Cala Saona for a west-facing sunset.
Day 4: Tuesday – Cala Saona to Cala d’Hort
- Cross the channel back to Ibiza, sailing past the rock islands of Es Vedrà and Es Vedranell.
- Swim and lunch stop beneath Es Vedrà, the island’s most mystical landmark.
- Anchor at Cala d’Hort for sunset in front of Es Vedrà, with dinner at a beachfront restaurant ashore.
Day 5: Wednesday – Cala d’Hort to Benirràs
- Sail up Ibiza’s sunset coast with a lunch and swim stop along the way.
- Round Sant Antoni and the north-west cape into the bay of Benirràs, the former hippie beach with clear water for snorkelling.
- Night at anchor in Benirràs, weather permitting.
Day 6: Thursday – Benirràs to Tagomago
- Lunch and snorkel stop along the rugged north coast, with a break at Portinatx and its lighthouse views.
- Run down the north-east coast past quiet coves and pine-covered cliffs.
- Quiet night at anchor off the island of Tagomago.
Day 7: Friday – Tagomago to Ibiza Town
- Last swim and lunch stop in the coves near Santa Eulalia.
- Cruise back into Marina Ibiza to dock before 17:00.
- Farewell dinner, then one last night on Calle de la Virgen and at the Dôme terrace.
Day 8: Saturday – Ibiza Town
Disembarkation: By 09:00 at Marina Ibiza.
- Exchange contact info with your new besties
- Head out to explore the town, or head to the airport for your return journey home with a ton of new memories and connections
